Welcome 2008/2009 season:

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Woodford SnoBuster  web-site for the 2008/2009 season. As always the SnoBusters are dedicated to providing and maintaining the safest, best groomed trails in Vermont for our club members. We all know in order to accomplish this we must have Land Owners permission and volunteers to make it work. Respect the land and the land owners will continue to respect the clubs and the club members allowing us to continue to enjoy this great sport. Don’t forget to carry out what you carry in.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with trail work, special events, grooming, and countless other things that need to be done to make this a successful and safe season. So please even if you only have one hour or just one day consider volunteering. It is a great way to meet new friends and get the kids involved for some family fun and exercise. So bring a friend and let’s get started.

In closing the WSB Club would like to thank Past President John Dovitski for his dedication and commitment to improving and moving the WSB Club forward for the last two years. John is still on the Board and will continue to support the club in many ways. The club website is a great source of information so continue to check in for updated events and of course make sure to THINK SNOW, SNOW, SNOW. Please feel free to contact me at mhcj1@verizon.net or (802) 447 - 1884 for updates on trail work and club functions, or just to help answer questions.

Mark Tilley, WSB President

About the SnoBusters

Welcome to the Woodford SnoBusters website.  We have over 100 miles of trails that are maintained and groomed regularly by volunteers in the southern part of Green Mountain National Forest.  Our elevation is about 2300 feet - that means we get plenty of snow!  We are located in the Southwestern part of Vermont, so that makes it a short drive from MA, CT, NY and NH.  Make sure that you check out the trail report before you come and visit us - it is updated daily.  Or, just call our snowline at 802-447-Snow [7669].  Also check our schedule of events.  We have our Special People Ride on Feb. 14 and the Hot Dog Roast on Feb. 21.  See you on the trails and have a Safe winter season!
